1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Little Things Gratitude Journal mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Little Things is a digital gratitude journal and wellness application that provides:

• Gratitude journaling with guided prompts
• Emotional check-in and journaling features
• Meditation soundscapes and ambient audio
• Progress tracking and history review
• Personalized backgrounds and themes
• Daily reminder notifications
• Home screen widget functionality

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

• You may use the App with anonymous authentication
• No email or personal identification is required for basic functionality
• Account data is securely stored using industry-standard encryption

3.2 User Information

During onboarding, you may provide:

• Display name
• Gender (optional)
• Personal goals and intentions
• Areas of focus for personal growth

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Subscription Plans

• Weekly Subscription: $2.99 per week
• Annual Subscription: $29.99 per year
• Free Trial: 3-day free trial available for new subscribers

4.2 Billing and Payment

• Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store
• Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account upon confirmation
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

4.3 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple ID account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for unused portions of your subscription

4.4 Free Trial

• Free trial users have access to all premium features
• If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for a subscription
• You may cancel anytime during the trial period without charge

5. User Content and Data

5.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of all gratitude entries, journal entries, and personal content created in the App
• You grant us a limited license to store and sync your content across your devices
• Your personal content is private and not shared with other users

5.2 Data Storage

• Content is stored locally on your device and synced to secure cloud servers
• We use Supabase for data storage with encryption in transit and at rest
• You may delete your personal data at any time through the App settings

5.3 Content Guidelines

You agree not to use the App to create content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory language
• Promotes violence or self-harm
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1 Data Collection

We collect only essential data to provide our services:

• User preferences and settings
• Journal entries and gratitude content
• Usage analytics to improve the App
• Subscription and payment information (processed by Apple)

6.2 Data Usage

• Your personal content is never sold or shared with third parties
• Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized
• We may use feedback to improve App functionality

6.3 Data Deletion

• You may request deletion of your personal data at any time
• Data deletion preserves your subscription status
• Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the App

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 App Content

• The App, including its design, features, audio content, and source code, is owned by us
• Background images, sounds, and UI elements are protected by copyright
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any App content

7.2 Trademarks

• "Little Things" and associated logos are our trademarks
• You may not use our trademarks without written permission

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Violate any applicable laws while using the App

9. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

9.1 Not Medical Advice

• The App is designed for general wellness and personal reflection
• Content is not intended as medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice
• Do not use the App as a substitute for professional mental health care

9.2 Crisis Resources

• If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline
• The App is not designed for crisis intervention

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
• We are not liable for temporary service outages or data loss
• You are responsible for backing up important content

10.2 Damages

• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limits may not apply to you

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms

12. Termination

• Subscription cancellation instructions are available in your Apple ID settings

• Your right to use the App ends immediately
• We may delete your account data after a reasonable period
